Wattpad’s terms of service and community standards are very clear, but there is no mention of inactive profiles being deleted or removed on the site. The only reasons for account termination appear to be a violation of the Code of Conduct or Terms of Service.
Go to your account and log in. In the upper right corner, click your name. To change settings, go to Settings. Look for the red arrow at the bottom of the screen where you see the word Close Account to find the close button. Endeavor to close your account by clicking on Close Account. Fill in all required information.
Create a Wattpad collaboration account. If I don’t need an account to read the stories on Wattpad, why is it asking me to log in or register? If you’re using a phone, ignore the input suggestions and select “No account” if you don’t want to create one.
If you’ve ever had a Wattpad account, your email address could have ended up in the closed account’s database. Go to forgot and enter your email address if you’d like to see if the email is linked to an active account. If this is a password reset notification, it’s because this email is associated with an active account.
Your work CAN’T be restored if it’s deleted from Wattpad. As a result, we are unable to restore user-deleted content.
